This is my cartoon, pop art homage to artist Robert Williams and his famous custom hot rod "prickly heat". he is guided by a flying eyeball, seminal avatar of Von Dutch, and trailed by Coochie Cootie, Williams' Kustom culture answer to Mickey Mouse. The hand grenade shifter represents for me the way Williams help deconstruct and redefined the fine art world from the 1980s on in founding the pop surrealism and "lowbrow" art movements with the magazine that he founded, Juxtapoz. This is an archival quality, hand-signed and numbered fine art print of my original acrylic painting.
