"Such Is Life", acrylic on stretched canvas. 16 X 20", a tribute to famous Australian outlaw Ned Kelly. Kelly was an Aussie "Bushranger" in the Victoria province in the late 1800s. He infamously made his last stand in a gun-battle against the provincial police wearing a hand-crafted suit of armor. He is seen here symbolically driving the "Cranky Frank" Holden character-car from the 2015 movie Mad Max: Fury Road. His shifter has been fashioned from the .36 calibre Colt Navy revolver that Ned used in his last stand. He chases a frightened Wombat, name-sake of the forest where one of Kelly's infamous gun-battles with police took place. His last words before execution were reportedly "Such is Life". This painting was created for my 2016 art show at Kustom Lane Gallery in Melbourne, Australia.

The painting is presented in a refinished vintage wood frame, ready to hang.
